And it'll probably end up selling more on the ps3 and 360 aswell, sad times for the WiiU indeed

It will probably bomb on all three platforms, who are we kidding.

Releasing in a quiet time like Feburary made sense, but releasing in September when things like GTAV are coming out and other stuff from Nintendo like Yoshi's Land or Wonderful 101 should be out ... not smart.

It's kinda stupid because I think they are mismanaging this whole situation to the point where another Rayman game like this is unlikely to get greenlit if (when?) this flops.

he didnt say it wouldnt flop, he just said it would do better than on PS360, which looking at the sales for Origins(not that that did well anyway) i could see why he said that. That game released in an ever worst month.

Maybe dissapointing rayman 3ds sales were a reason.

A port of a port getting ported to 3ds, if it got any sales they be happy with it.

it does not matter whether it as a port or a port of a port or just a port(as long the port is good) but the time between the releases.Maybe that was too long and this time they are trying to avoid bad sales for the ps360 as these versions sold the most copies.

If PS360 sales were so important then why release on WIi U as exclusive in first place?

Personally I expect this game to bomb now.  As many have said it was releasing in a perfect time. Now its going to be competing with every other big gun out there.

If the Wii U version is done as well right now they are even more idiotic than ever.  I'm sure everyone has heard the saying.  "a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush"  Ubisoft should release the WIi U now and get money NOW.  Why hold out on money now for a possibility that simultanious gets you more than a late port.

They can do things with that money they earned NOW until september.  Whether its start on a new project or just investing or paying off debt/loans.  Waiting to release a finish product is just moronic. THe only reason to do such a thing woudl be like if your making a christmas game, obviously don't release now.  Or a game that has fourth of july type appeal, or football season startin gsoon and you are making football game, ect.  THere is zero reason for this game to delayed if its finished.

Hopefully not only Ubisoft takes note of this, Nintendo as well. See how vocal the community will be and that this spreads quickly and will influence sales and future support from the public.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.

the 3ds version released a whole year after the intial versions and about 6 months after the Vita version...yeah id say it was too late, which is funny because im sure the game was supposed to coincide with Legends original Wii U release and we know how that went.

Yesss!!! I love Rayman i'm so glad that i will be playing Legends on my Pc/Ps3!

boycotting games...cause that always works. That is a great way to ensure future support for your system, by NOT buying games.

This was one of the few WiiU titles I watching, hard luck to the Nintendo faithful, but I guess its better for fans of the original game as they don't have to buy a WiiU now.

HD fans you got your wish! But Ubi, if you are delaying a game, work on it...
The WiiU version better have all those extra tweaked levels you are making us wait for.

Meanwhile I'll try get Origins, think I saw it for 10 somewhere.

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

i wonder when they will anounce a different version of zombiu for 360/ps3.

Well that's good news I can get it for my ps3 though I'd prefer on ps vita or 3ds (I just like 2d games on handheld more).

Kind of messed up for Wii U people, because I don't really see why it should be delayed all the way until September even for the Wii U...now Wii U literally has nothing in February, having barely anything for January is one thing since that is common even for established consoles, but February literally just has a pinball game.

Why can't any company release a multiplatform game for Wii U first? I actually think releasing Rayman for Wii U in February or at least March would be better for Ubisoft, since February isn't a big game month while September is getting crowded already.
