How about Sly Cooper week ending Feb 9th? Yeap Vita and Wii U in Deep Deep Deep ****. Only Japan gets releases soon for Vita (end of Feb)

A game hastily ported to Vita from PS3 will do nothing for the system :P

In Japan, sales should pick up in March.  But there's nothing to provide a boost to the awful numbers in USA/EU.  Unless Sony announce a price cut on the 20th.  Here's hoping.

Shame Far Cry 3 hasn't sold more. About to platinum it on PS3, amazing game.

That's weird becaseu Ubisoft release the numbers for the end of December.

PC: 1 million
Consoles: 3.5 million

4.5 million combined

These numbers don't make a lot of sense to me. Was expecting the PS3 below 100k this week, especially since Ni No Kuni gave it barely any boost last week (when it actually released).

Everything seems to be bottoming out at their lowest levels though. 3DS will get a nice boost next week.

Quite impressed with Ni No Kuni's hold in the USA anyway. I remember a few people saying "just wait until you see the second week sales...". I think 40k is quite good, especially after a 160k opening week. Will be interested to see the numbers in Europe in any case.

Not to mention that there are still quite a few places with low stock.

I just hope it does well enough that they make another game with that engine.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

-Looks like the Nintendo Direct provided a VERY SMALL boost to Wii U sales.
-PS3 still above 100k! I don't see it dropping next week. Some good releases this week with Sly 4 and Dead Space 3.
-360 holding on to respectable levels. Price cut is long overdue.
-Vita....no comment.
-3DS sales are bad outside of Japan. It being #1 WW gives the illusion that its selling well but it really isn't...

*Facepalm* i got last week mixed up with this week! (japan week ending Jan26 had the new titles!) My badd!

Sadly, Demon Gaze & Monster Monpiece barely provided any boost the week they came out anyway.

And just to warn you in advance, there's no important games on Vita's release schedule until February 28th.  It's going to be a disappointing month ahead!

Vita sales aren't disappointing anymore, they are expected.

Xbox only decent in US, bad overall.

PS3 only good in Europe, decent overall.

Wii U still terrible. Needs games, a NSMBU bundle (screw Nintendo Land) and potentially a price cut (especially with PS4 and Nextbox coming soonish, it would make the Wii U look a whole lot more appealing in comparison). Almost dead-like sales.

Wii non-surprisngly dead, had a great run.

DS non-surprisingly dead, had a great run.

3DS decent in US and europe, good in japan and good overall.

Vita hilariously bad when the Wii and DS, dead consoles, are not far behind it. Dead-like sales, needs all kinds of issues to be resolved for things to turn around now.

It was more a response to tbone's disappointment with Vita sales for this week (as he was expecting an increase, although on the mistaken belief that games were releasing for it this week).

Terrible sales all round here :/

WiiU really needed Rayman, sales will probably decrease from here, but I just can't imagine them any lower 0_0

Good for Wii U, being up at least a little is always a nice thing.

Wow game sales are so low. Way lower than last year at this time.

Come on MS and Sony! Announce new consoles!
