when you insert the disc into your ps3 if you have internet the online pass (access to all online features) and the cross-buy product (digital version of the game for vita) is unlocked on psn tied to your account. the games (ps3 disc and vita digital) if effectively tethered to your psn preventing you from selling off the code or disc for profit.

correct, you can still sell the disc, they just don't get the "free" digital version. that is non-transferable.

What are you talking about? this was well advertised and I don't even look on very many gaming websites apart from this one. Why the Fuck would sony sell you a game and then give you a free copy you could just sell and make your money back?

Anyways by not using your download code your copy will be worth more when you re sell it then the used copies with the used codes.
