The site is ok, and pretty much the source of all the threads in VGC -.- , their Media Create thread last longer that the one in here, but it's all the same. Witty comments, stealth trolls, covered fanboyism, same same things.

Things I hate about gaf

1) no way to know if people quoted you etc... hate that. VGC buddy is #1!!!
2) all the damn emphasis on "member" or JR etc, ugh annoying
3) dumb ass ranking using dbz or other crap. Thats just annoying.
4) forbidden sites

Things I like about gaf
1) insider stuff and quicker access to leaked news
2) mobile variant of site

If you think this site is full of fanboys you probably never been to NeoGaf...

GAF takes more time to find info due to the massive amount of topics, and people.  it gets almost every news thread and more before vgc. Many of this places threads and content are taken by members that are members of GAF or lurk there. People talk about games unlike here, have more sense of humor/less serious. Overall the posts more often have less thought put into them on average, but due to the abundance of posts there is plenty that is interesting. The off-topics is way better as there are just so many people and ideas. The main thing that is better here is a much smaller community. GAF can suffer by being too big unless you live on GAF. Overall the mods are less strict. Basically, each has its place, but GAF can offer a lot more if you take the time.
