Everytime there is some news/graphs about sales a new thread about is created... and the leaks is into these threads... the same for software...

PS. In the PAL thread they eve estimate the numbers comparing the % and position of the games in the latest chartz.

I only go there for specs from insiders. That discussion is done well there. Sales and other general talk is way better here.

Filled with mainly Sony fans and appears to have a small Nintendo community. A site that I'd never want to be a part of.

They have more insiders guys and so more sales info than we have... I think ioi uses a lot of data coming from these insiders in VGC too.

About the general talk... well there is more specifics talk together with the general talk and bullshit talk in GAF... it's weird but after you learn how to get the good discussion there the things get better.

I prefer VGC but GAF is useful.

It is best gaming forum on the net. A lot of the members are gamer developers and actively discuss with the other members about many topics. Most journalists take their news from the site and they too all have membership to Neogaf.

Also last time I went there everyone was excessively picture quoting. It happens here on occasion but most of us moderate quote trees enough that we delete pictures when quoting picture posts as habit.

I've tried joining neogaf but they won't accept my email and I'm not going out of my way to create one they will. Neogaf seems to work on reputation, more people claiming to be this person or that person who works for this company or that company. Not sure if it is true, but they get more recognition for it.

Anyway, VGC 4 Life!

I wish vgc had the layout of gaf, it looks very clean, posts stretch across the entire screen, there are no sigs, the board has only 2 sections: gaming and offtopic, resulting in threads going real fast. On vgc if the thread is not in the Hot Topics section anymore it dies.

 

@mods: what forum software does vgc use?
