Dislike about Sony:

They are pretentious and simple minded, they lack vision out of their thing which is technology, they treat customers like numbers, they have a "mature" image a hate, trying to appeal to western market most, PS3, they have a high-fi image which absolutely false, their first party games are mediocre games with a pretty face (except GT, which is the best racing sim out there)
Sony fans are mostly childish inmature grown up men, which is disgusting and difficult to deal with, Dual shock controller has an ultra-dated design thats not even funny, they force you to buy a multimedia device when i just wanna play their damn 3rd party exclusives (+ GT), 3rd party exclusives they bought moneyhatting pretty much everyone when they entered the market in 1995

The rest is your opinion and you are entitled to it, yet the bolded is completely false. The are about the only company that doesn't treat consumers like a box to check off.

What multimedia device id they force upon you?

Sony never moneyhatted any exclusives. That is their problem now, they refuse to. What they offer is help with development and advertising. This is unlike MS who just threw money at whomever made agreements with Sony. There is a difference between me being in perfectly good standing with my current opinion then you offer me a large sum to sway my opinion, and me being in a bad place so you offer to lend a helping hand which sways my opinion.

Just the way they mishandled everything about it.

The image as a SSB rip-off, lack of characters, and now they cut ties with the studio.

The worst thing for me regarding the system itself is the gamepad - i disliked it when psx was young and do it still today. The Xbox-controller just fits better to my hands and I liked the x360-games a lot so I bought this system.
But the worst thing to me is the fanbase - sometimes they act like Apple-fanboys acting to defend their religion which is ridiculous to me.
What I like is the hack-value of their systems (although bigN is much better in this discipline) but their behavior against several hackers was way too much to me. What I also don't like is that Sony is constantly trying to push their proprietary solutions - memory stick, vita-cards, umd and so on. There are open standards out there and I don't want to buy "their" stuff because it is more expensive than other solutions which do the same.

And yes, they tried many times to show the competition is worse with fake-ingame-videos or screenshots which don't show the real performance - I remember Gran Turismo screenshots in the dreamcast-era which were obviously far off what was later possible. But ppl took the bait :)
