Well, it seems that you have severely overestimated Mazty's opinion on this matter.

Power is insignificant to the... power of good software.

wii u doesn'T consume to much power so yeah it doesn't really need the powa

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

The more the merrier. But as long as they can make a full scale zelda game like that hd demo at e3 I will be more than happy.

Perhaps.

But he brought up good questions that seem to cover all levels of concern, no?

It might not consume much power but the controller doesn't last as long as it should.

As a hardcore gamer, I demand moar power.

Then you owe it to yourself to purchase a Wii-U now.

Regardless of which platform is most capable I want enough exclusives on each to warrant all the platforms. Im getting tired of multiplatting but I know it wont stop any time soon. I doubt it will happen, but maybe each platform will be different enough to entice devs to make exclusives for all 3.

In an era where you have to sell 2m+ copies of your game to break even I don't expect 3rd party games to really show the power of the PS4 and 720 (that like always will be a job of the first party tittles). That's the main reason why I think the Wii U is going to have better luck with 3rd party games (plus some engines like UE4 that can downscale to even phones), probably not going to happen though. Not that it really matters to me since I have a PC for the multiplats. I said this before but Nintendo strategy this gen is to get 3rd party exclusive games, which is far better than multiplats imo.

Overall I agree with you, power will not determine who's the winner next gen. People always talk about power and what not but if you don't have the games to play then there's no point in arguing about power. It will be interesting to see how the PS4 and the 720 preform with a price that will most likely be $400 (or more), with that we should see if the market is interested in paying that much cash for a gaming console.

Oh btw expect ninjablade to come here and say you are wrong on your first comment.

Partially.

But questions such as, "If generation is to do with what time they are released then why is the PS3 super slim not next gen" and "How can a console be next-gen if it can't play next-gen games?" are just ridiculous. Their sole purpose is to trash talk the Wii U and should not be taken seriously.
