How about asking this question for games that developers actually put some effort into their game? I'm sure Little Inferno, Trine 2, and Zen Pinball 2 will make the developers decent profit.

I rather support the indie developers than developers who make games like assassins creed, batman and such

According to Nintendo`s report, about 11 million games were sold. Even if we assume a few million are on shelves, it`s a lot more than VGC is tracking (probably bought digitally).
I think that most of them if not all, being that most titles were ports, have paid off and will make a profit once Wii U sales pick up.
Personally, i think ZombiU, Scribblenauts and Sonic Racing will be some of the titles to see sales increase when Wii U starts having a better release Schedule.

As soon as we know how expensive a port is we will know whether 3rd parties made money or not.
As many ports are made for vita, most of them not selling much more than 100k it seems ports are not that expensive.(some vita ports are even free when you already have the ps3 version=crossbuy)
Strangers Wrath eg is just a download game port but the publisher seems to be pleased with the sales numbers as I heard therefore I think it can't be that expensive to port a game.

I did some maths using Ubisoft's figure about how much it cost to port games to Wii-U and Barozi's pie chart for the breakdown of a $60 game in that post.
If any of those numbers are in the ballpark of being correct, then it would only take about 50k copies sold to make the game break even. But it depends on the game more than anything else. Although Ubisoft had cited $1.2 million for their ports, I reckon that figure would be closer for something like Just Dance than it would for Assassin's Creed 3.
Either way, I suspect the more successful ports (Blops, Assasin's Creed, Batman) would have at least recouped their costs plus some profit. The lower down stuff such as Tekken and Mass Effect may be struggling, though.

Zen Pinball 2 is the shit :) PvZ board is awesome!

Lets call them ports of 360 games. PS3 gets shoddy ports too. If they were truely PS3 games and not ports they would always dwarf the 360 versions.

hmm.. true.. doubt that they would port the cell game engine to the wiiU.. waaaaaay to complicated (and prob. impossible to make it function full-speed)
Anything that sold over 100k made money for sure. Ubisoft said it cost $1mil to port a game, and with 100k the game should have at least $2mil in revenue, being conservative.
