It would be cool if most of what of guys are predicting turn out to be the reality.

I am sure the controller would be great but have anyone heard any mention of Move!

Will Move! be part of the package? Is Move dead? What?

I have a strange feeling Sony is gonna cockup where Move is concerned.

Won't it sort of perceived as a halfassed attempt at copying Nintendo if it had a small touchscreen..?

I'm not a big fan of touch pads on laptops, and I don't think I'd like it on PS4 either. I'd rather just navigate with an analog stick. I would, however, like a small touch screen. It could enhance games and navigating menues.

In a menu interface like the XMB, yeah the analogs win out and there is no reason the PS4 won't have the ability to navigate with the analogs. They probably want to keep the DS3 compatibile with the console anyway so analog stick navigation must stay. But for the web browser you are going to want that track pad. It will do wonders for that. The alternative would be to buy a mouse but this way everyone has the track pad because it came default with the PS4. A track pad can also remain small on the controller. A touchscreen would signiifcantly increase the size of the controller. Vita is already a touchscreen controller ready for use. Sure with a price cut down to $200 it is still pretty expensive for a controller, but the price will go down even further over the years. The ability to have a touchscreen controller which is also a dedicated gaming handheld is pretty nifty, don't make something like that compete with a hollow streaming controller. Doing that is a far better alternative than to increase the cost of the dedicated controller and thusly the console when Sony will be trying to push hardware power.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

The touchpad is rumored to be IN FRONT of the controller replacing the Start/Select/PS Button space.

Ah, I see. Silly me. Heh. Still seems kinda worthless for gaming, but at least it would make interface/web browsing a bit smoother.

I think that's the point. Navigation and touch writing. Leave the Vita to do asynchronous gameplay, create a healthy multiplat relationship between PS4 and the Wii U. Having only one console with dual screen features will sometimes discourage devs, but two would really help added features to games. Can't wait for off screen menus and maps to take hold.

That'll be the day. Another use I could see is in MMOs. Besides chat, the extra screen could also be used for buffs, whereas the controller buttons could be mapped to buttons for ease of use. RTS's and TBS's could also benefit.

I am looking forward to Vita+PS3/PS4 Wii U multiplats. Maybe we'll see those later when the Vita is cheaper and the PS4 officially exists. :)

Touch pad dude, no screen. I won't mind a touch pad.

I stopped reading after the first sentence. It won't have a touchscreen, it will have a TOUCH PAD. There is a huge difference and the rest of your post isn't worth reading if you don't' understand this.

Before you get condescending, know that there are rumors of both.  Since you already know what the system will come with, I expect you won't bother watching on Feb 20th.
