Well, you certainly make a popular thread.

I'm gonna go ahead and say no, but I think Vita is going to keep its lead until at least the holidays 2013.

It seemed like after Wii-U's launch everyone was predicting it would overtake Vita before the end of March 2013 because stock shortages were all that was holding it back, but it turns out both consoles are equally unpopular at the moment.

Hopefully they BOTH pick up some steam by the end of the year and we see them both selling better, though.

True. Outside of Japan, I'd say it sold a lot on based on the ease with which it could be pirated. Sadly this killed software sales.

True. Outside of Japan, I'd say it sold a lot on based on the ease with which it could be pirated. Sadly this killed software sales.

I don't think help a lot vita hardware because every console was pirated .



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

Now you're just being ridiculous, the PSP Go still has 6 years left in its 10 year plan, who knows what secret system-selling games are still on the way for it!

lol, a couple months ago i would have laughed hysterically at this. ..but seeing wiiU's current sales, it might be true. right now both are failing. i guess it comes down to who can find a way to save their systems.

It will probably take the WiiU longer than we think thanks to Ninty refusing to cut the price. Does it really matter that much though? It isn't like PS4 or Nextbox will release and pass the Vita soon after launch. So yea I expect Vita to stay ahead of the next Gen home consoles for quite sometime, like what the PSP did to 2/3 of of the 7th Gen.
