EA
Activision Blizzard
Ubisoft
EPIC Games

Obviosly a lot of these companies have some pros and cons.

Nintendo doesn't really develop Mature titles but are great with everybody type titles

Sony gives chances to art style games but lacks good advertising

Miccrosoft has huge advertising campaigns and has big budgets but doesnt give chances unless they think it will be successful

EA and Activision are pretty good with advertising but if you create something successful expect it to be an annual release.

Valve, Bethesda, EPIC Games, and Rockstar are probably the most quality publishers out of all of the multiplatform list in my opinion.

My honest opinion, I'd partner up with EPIC as they are talented, great with graphics, creative, and there games sell well. Plus going multiplatform would maximize profits.

I would develop an action-adventure game under Ubisoft. Action-adventure because it allows a great deal of creative freedom. Ubisoft because it has a global footprint, boasts several excellent brands, continues to expand its portfolio, and has smart, dedicated leadership.

Eidos Interactive isn't a publisher anymore. That ceased in like 2011 I think...

It's a hard choice. I don't know enough. A publisher that keeps their hands off as much as possible, while providing decent marketing etc.

I can say
Not EA, Activision Blizzard. Konami or Capcom don't really publish games that weren't already estabilished by them.

Valve because everything they do wins or Sega because SEGA!

SCE, for their creative freedom.

Although I would most definitely evaluate other offers, beggars can't be choosers.

SCE for creative freedom.

valve, sony or nintendo. i feel these 3 companies have the most ethics when it comes to treating their costumers and the way they deal with issue's gamers dont like, DLC for example. nintendo treats their costumers really really good. sony treats their developers really really good. and valve treats everyone really really good. so it would be one of those 3

What Epic game sells well? Gears ! Published by M$, I am not sure they even do that much self publishing

I think the publisher you want depends on what type of game you are making, but generally I think I would go for Sony. So of course, being a fanboy does help my decision, but I think that they do give good creative freedom and if you make a great game, then it will sell enough to justify your survival. All the Sony studios that have been cut, have been cut due to bad games more than just bad sales. I don't think M$ would offer the same support if my game was not going to be "mega" and I don't think that the extra marketing power of Activision or EA would justify the creative issues (though I think they are alright at managing already established studios)

I would be happy to let R* publish it, but that would partially invovle them taking some control over the game (probably to make it better) so that seems like cheating

I wouldn't be too keen on the smaller publishers, I don't see what they would bring to the table ahead of the others, though I suppose they might be more likely to back a risky game?

Surely not EA, Activision, Capcom or Ubisoft.
