Have sold only more of PS2.
I agree PS4 will definately fail. They have released a controller that is worse than the one before and force feedback was used in all of 1 game, so that was 100 million well spent. As the PS4 struggles to reach 6 million sold this holiday period the Xbox one will continue to blow it away and rise to around 12 million sold. Blame Sony for releasing such an underpowered machine that it could not cope in a discerning market. Going back on DRM, Killzone shadowfall being a huge hit in March and removing the Playstation Camera have all ultimately not helped for the PS4 to such a degree that it will probably never sell well ever again.

I have a feeling Sony is going downhill and will do badly everywhere, except maybe decent in Europe. Nintendo will take Japan while Microsoft will take the US.
The main reason Sony caught up with the PS3 to some extent is because they were just fine with selling the console at a horrible loss for a long, long time. Anyone with enough money in the bank can make the most powerful system and sell it at a loss to get people to buy it. I don't think Sony can/will do the same thing again for Vita/PS4. |
