yeah, doesn't sound like you got to it. The game actually ramps up quite a bit during the second half. You should give it another try. If you have a 360 it's available on games on demand...

That is a very easy statement to prove false, as I would really want it Also, I would argue the game was very underrated. The fact that it is one of the few original xbox games that are available on xbox live proves that the game has a following! |
The game probably lost tons of money on the original X-Box they put it on live to recoup some of their losses.

how could it have lost tons of money? games back then only needed to sell like 100k to make a profit and it sold 700k
yeah i would, i really liked it on xbox, i even bought it a second time for pc years ago which reminds me that i still have to play it a second time on pc!

Just report him, hes obviously trolling, Dude!
here is what Bioware said on the subject about a year ago...

sounds like they get asked about it quite a bit. Certainly sounds like it is a possibility of Bioware returning to it in the future...

I wouldn't say he is trolling exactly. He obviously has a strong opinion on the subject, as do I. Unfortunately for him, it appears that most people appear to share my opinion...

I'm pretty sure that the average game had to sell a lot more then a 100K to make a profit last generation. Also Jade Emipire was a lot more ambitious then your average game last generation so I'm sure it was a lot more expensive to make.
Chris Hu continues to act like a spoiled brat after derailing the previous thread with his immature repetitive ramblings. Lacking to show how a game that sold 700K on original xbox is a failure. That is 700,000 units on a console that had a install base of less than 25 million. The game was also ported to pc and easily has over million sales combined and even more so if you inlcude the digital sales from xbox 360 store.
Hu you are acting like this game seriously abused you in some way. I see no reason for your continuous irrational remarks while even on this small sample of a website you can find lot of people who enjoyed the game. If you are really 40 year old please try to act atleast like half of it.
OT: Jade Empire was a gem of a game. Lot of mechanics introduced were perfected in Mass Effect but it was a pioneer to a lot of western RPG's you found in the current generation of console. The art style, branching storline paths with multiple endings made this game a joy to play. The soundtrack was brilliant too and captured the spirit of the setting.

How am I trolling if the game really was this massively popular it would have more then 16 comments in its comment section. The last one was from April 6th 2011 that's almost two years ago.
