What is your purpose on life?

to worship my creator and be as good of a person I can

what is yours?

To enjoy what may be the only life I'll have.

Now what makes your purpose better or less depressing than my own?

well it is less depressing because I have something to look foreword to after death. In my opinion it would be meaningless to just exist. how many of the things humans create exist for no reason?

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

My purpose in life is to defend the PlayStation Universe.

Perhaps. But I would rather listen to those feelings than live in denial.

how can you know if you aren't living in denial now?

I could ask you the same thing.

Edit: Or was that a general question? In that case I guess the answer is that if you listen to your feelings rather than suppress them, you do not live in denial.

but if I do and you do who is correct and who is in denial? who decides?

I have proof of what I beleive in at least

What makes life after death any more meaningful than life before death? You're still just existing either way. Please, tell me how the afterlife is more meaningful than standard life.

Please, share with us your proof. This should be interesting, especially since even theists agree that there's no proof for many Religious concepts; they say faith is involved. So what is your non-faith objective proof?

to live a good live without ever asking what the purpose is

I didn't say life isn't meaningful in fact it is the very thing that decides what happens to you when you die that's why it is important to make the right choices in life

what you get in the after life is what you sow in life you know you reap what you sow

what you get is eternal life (the second life) where there are no more tests and you can do whatever you want with no more "tests" as a reward

But you would still be "just existing". And you said "just existing" is meaningless. So what is it about an afterlife that makes it more than "just existing"? Other than lasting forever, I don't see what makes it so much more special than a limited life.
