You pay the LIve fee to access online features via the 360. Don't like it? Get another box and stop pissing and moaning about how that sucks.
Clearly Sony is doing something wrong if people still go to the 360 in spite of this.

I pay about a dime a day for an online experience that blows PSN away in pretty much every category. Idk how much more they can give for my dollars but I would love to see it.
I agree wholeheartedly though with anyone who says that subscriptions you already pay someone else for, should not be locked away behind another subscription. That's why I made this thread. Major Nelson (if he is the one who actually updates the blog) should be ashamed of himself for writing out something so stupid as this blog update as if MS is actually doing some great service for gamers here.
But people drastically overrate the importance of these things in the overall scheme of things. I don't know of a single person in life or the Internets who pays their subscription just for Netflix or Internet Explorer. It's just fodder for people to argue about. Will make for great entertainment when Sony starts charging for online play too next gen.
Ironic, dont think anyone actually cares if the ms needs to up the ante on psn+ in the first place. Just sayin, could care less about the inferiority that I had experienced during that brief spell I've brought ps3 to play uncharted and heavy rain ;_;
Worst £30 pounds I've blown after I've traded the ps3 in, although heavy rain was an amazing experience.
