First of all I think you mean infamous 3. Second of all I don't see how insomniac can have made a ps4 ratchet when they've been making fuse unless they let another dev have it. I would still want insomniac to make it even after the last 2 (which weren't made by the main team if I recall right). I have to believe they still have the magic of resistance 3 and every ratchet before all4one in them and just need to put their whole focus on a true ratchet in the vein of acit which was my favorite game this gen

yes they have 2 teams.

yes you are right. the last 2 were not made by the main team.

i think they still have that magic aswell. they just need to continue to find themselves outside of R&C, but Insomniac doesn't know wht that is yet but they will soon.

the 8th gen. will be Insomniac's big test, and i hope they pass.

Personally I thought Resistance 3 was incredible. Although it was mainly blending Ratchet with Resistance through the upgrading system and similar, if more realistic, weapons to the Ratchet games so I guess your point still stands. They need to finish off Ratchet's story though and ACiT sold much better than All4One or FFA so they should be ready to get back to it. Plus ToD got a jump in sales for being the first next gen one and I would imagine a true Ratchet soon after PS4 launch would have the same effect.

R3 was the best of the 3.

Insomniac is going to be just fine, i just hope their second team learns how to make a quality game.

Is that the one that made the last 2 Ratchets? If so I agree wholeheartedly. I'm wondering if being Sony first party wouldn't be good for them. Get freedom to work on games for awhile as long as you show some progress *cough* team ICO *cough* Polyphony *cough* and get the full backing of Sony behind you to make the best games possible. Sony kinda screwed them over with the R3 add and lack of support for that game (forget if it was even shown during their E3 conference at all) so maybe they should do a little deal to get a certain amount of marketing if they make a big PS4 title or something but those 2 work well together and Fuse looks pretty generic judging from the stuff I've seen so EA isn't the answer (I'll wait to see reviews but damn did that trailer kill my hype and a lot of other people's).

yes that's the team.

it disappoints me to see gamers see fuse as generic. i like it, and think it will turn out a good game. reveiws won't show it. i expect average scores with 9, 8, and 7's. i think everyone should be open to giving it a chance. i took a risk on rpg's after swarring them off. i'm still against RTS gmes though.

i want to see more from fuse, and the main complaint i hear is seems to be gamers thinking it heading in a COD direction, and i don't see it. also gamers likeing the original style of the game as i did.

R3 got advertisement during it's release, and i don't remember seeing at E3, and since i didn't do the verdict(which is my thoughts on E3/2010-2011)so i couldn't pull it up for reference.

Insomniac does worry me though, but not as much as i worry about the industry as a whole with the cost of dev. rising.
