Forums - Nintendo - Smash Bros Creator Masahiro Sakurai Is Suffering From RSI

Explains the annoying camera in Kid Icarus. Sakurai got to playtest it with another device and never experienced the real deal before it was too late. They really should had made the ground levels 2D imo.

With an injury like that he's clearly a member of the master race. Welcome aboard Sakurai. Can't wait for the new Smash Bros to come out on PC.

Why would it come out on PC because of this?

Because I read a rumour of a rumour off an unknown website linked to another website with no integrity, which happened to be hosted on a gaming news site renowned for its promotion of baseless rumors. Don't question such irrefutable logic.

So you heard it from VGChartz? :-p

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

Skeeuk: "playstation 3 is the ultimate in gaming acceleration"

So you were being sarcastic?

yes you crazy man lol.

It's hard to tell on this site sometimes.

yea i know the feeling. i got on someone in my mod nation racers thread for mentioning mario kart selling 33m ww when the thread was about MNR crossing the 1m mark.

it's not easy know who the fans are that are being sarcastic, and those who enter for assery lol. i'm usually more serious, and don't do to much sarcasm or jokes on this site, but at home sarcasm is  daily job i don't get paid for lol.

wonder who will be in th next SB! i want Roy back.

Or maybe we're so used to playing the same thing over and over again, that we get scared and confused when we have to do something different?

Brilliant metaphorical euphemism, because God forbid one degrades monotony out loud.

What are you even trying to say with this?

That he is suffering from repetitive strain injury because he keeps making the same game over and over.

I think.

If that's not what he meant, then it's what he should have meant.

I tried to piece it together... but in the end he just confused me.

What you said makes sense.

Sounds like he needs a Kinect!

In the last 10 years, he's worked on...

Kirby Air Ride (Racing Game)

Meteos (Puzzle game)

Mushiking: The King of Beetles (Japanese trading card like thingy)

Brawl (fighting game)

and

Kid Icarus Uprising (shmup, action game hybrid).

Those are all clearly the same game over and over.  Kid Icarus Uprising is essentially just a reskin of Meteos.
