Get over it. It's an inevitability of the internet. You can take a break if you want but that's not going to change anything; the forums will be in the exact same state. If you think people are trolling or unreasonably bashing, then respectfully confront them directly in the forums (In fact, I think you should include links of the Nintendo Basing threads in your OP so everyone can go confront them right now). If that doesn't work get the mods in action.
Trolling & bashing on forums will exist forever and everywhere. Everyone will have their preferred console bashed - Nintendo fans, Microsoft fans, and Sony fans. Nintendo just released a new console which in itself is going to cause some trolling & bashing because of the nature of the forums. Consider the fact that the Wii U's sales are low and you should expect even more negativity. It's the nature of the forums; when the PS4 and 720 release, I guarantee they will both get their fair share of both justified and unjustified bashing.
That being said, aside from the one or two extreme users from every camp, I haven't noticed excessive Nintendo bashing. Considering the Wii U's performance, it's justified to be concerned with it's future. I have't seen too many threads which outright break the rules or just bash the Wii U without justification. But this is just my fairly uninformed opinion. I don't typically enter Nintendo threads very much and I've probably missed a lot. I'm curious about these outright Nintendo Bashing threads though. Could someone link them?
