Forums - Movies & TV - ParaNorman

ParaNorman became one of my favorite movies when I saw it in the theater and I own it on DVD now. I like clay-mation movies and I don't think there is enough of them. That is one reason why I like the movie, but the story is also very good and it's honestly just hilarous.

One of my favorite parts is the guy at the snack machine. If you've seen the movie, then you know what part I'm talking about.

Has anyone else seen ParaNorman?

I enjoyed the movie and saw in 3D with a friend. I didn't really think it was a kids movie though. I wasn't sure what the would relate to or identify with in the movie, other than the art style.

That reminds me, I need to see 'The Corpse Bride.'

I would also, recommend, "Chicken Run"

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Haven't seen it yet, but I heard/seen the style of similar to Coraline and I loved that movie. Good to see these great stories in animated films being commercially and critically successful.

I saw it with my little brother. It was actually pretty good.

I liked it

I forget about the snack machine, bit I was plesently surprised with this movie. Saw it at the dollar show. My kids even went to see it again!

Nice to have a movie like this. May be a little scary in parts for some little kids. The witch scene was kind of intense!

I agree that it might be a little scary for little kids, but I think older kids should be able to handle it okay. It's a really good movie.

Saw it 2 weeks ago. It came out rather late over here. It was great, though I still prefer Coraline. If you like claymation you should check out Mary and Max. Beautiful little movie aimed more at adults than children for it tackles issues such as autism and depression.

Coraline is good. I really like that movie too. And it looks like my library has Mary and Max. I'll be borrowing it soon.

The clay animation was incredible!! But other than that, I wasn't too impressed... A decent film. Best part was the snack food machine ^^ man I laughed!!

I also think that Hotel Transylvania  didn't quite "get there"; also a decent movie; but it had the potantial to be even better!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Watching the 3D Blu-ray of it tonight! By the way, the lenticular cover it has is one of the best I've ever seen, the sense of depth it portrays is incredible, as is the zombie hand which protrudes out from the cover very cleverly.
