I can say I am very hyped this year.

First there is the obvious with new consoles and the content they will showcase. We'll have some upgraded games, some new games, some new non-game content, new/upgraded controls, etc... from Microsoft and Sony and it will be great to watch (as well as talk shit about).

Then there is the mighty Nintendo.

This recent Nintendo Direct has filled me with joy that they finally get it. They finally realize they need to show GAMES and not Wii Music types of games, but games that people actually want to play.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure E3 will show off the new service content, Wii Fit U, VC and eShop stuff... and that's ok. So long as its quick and early like this presentation. But then to focus on short talks and quality visual representation of many NEW games.

Pikmin3, Wonderful 101, and MH3 will likely be out at retail... but we'll surely see more of the fall and 2014 games.

Nintendo:
1) 3D mario
2) Zelda WWHD
3) Yarn Yoshi
4) "X"
5) Bayonetta2
6) Teasers for Zelda U, Smash Bros U/3DS, Mario Kart U...

... and above all I'm sure we'll finally see what Retro is doing!!!!

Then there is the 3rd party ports and hopefully a surprise exclusive or two. Hell, if "X" didn't already prove to you all that WiiU is more powerful than PS360, I'm sure its more finalized version by E3 as well as 3DMario/Bayonetta2/RetroGame will.

I really think this E3 is gonna be huge. Three very large and quality presentations.

What are you expecting?

This reminds too much of Smeags' Nintendo Hype Thread last year. We were all so happy (because Sony and MS weren't all too great) and then the Nintendo Conference actually happened.

... Never again shall I be as hyped as I was...

Í'm also quite hyped for E3, specifically Nintendos, but it will also be a pleasure in seeing what Microsoft and Sony has in store for gamers.

However, this time we've had at least one Nintendo Direct that truly brought some great news and games. It was even prefaced with the idea that its a little different than before on purpose, thus showing signs of changing their presentation format. So far, I like.

I am pleased to here that Mario Kart for Wii U and SSB will be at E3. I can't remember if they said that these two will be playable. Do you remember?

Ya know... I just watched it again last night and I think you're right. I think it was remarked that these titles would be playable at E3.

4.5months is not too early.

Just know that there will be at least 3 more Nintendo Directs. Assuming one will be focused solely on 3DS... two should contain quality Wii U info!
