Forums - PC - Can any PC tech people help me?

I actually only have anti virus. It's AVG. I guess it's not a good thing to not have any anti spyware or anti malware. I downloaded malwarebytes and I'm running it now. Any other suggestions? and no I don't put my laptop in sleep mode. I never close it and leave it still on. Sorry for the late response. it's still going on though it's not as frequent.

Any recommendations for something that kills spyware and malware all in one go? I tried out malwarebytes and a full scan wasn't even done after an hour and a half so I aborted it. It didn't find anything. It just blocked a few sites. Any help is appreciated. I have no idea what is wrong.

just copy all files externally and reinstall your operating system. you dont wanna blow a capacitor. its the easyest thing you'll ever do.

Show me your Process tab with All Users like I said a week ago.

I would if this let me post pics. I tried pasting it and I clicked insert image and nothing happened. My CPU usage goes from 5-10%, processes is 123, and memory is 41%. It repeats a lot of the same processes. Not sure if that's supposed to happen or not.

you have to use an image hosting site. try using photobucket.com/ to host the image than paste a link to it here

Okay. done. This shows most of the processes. Anything else?

Edit: Image codes didn't work so I just posted the links.

i dont know much but it looks like your chrome browser is acting up. so i would say it may be some sort of malware or virus problem. If you haven't yet, run your anti virus program while your computer is in safe mode, and run spy bot while in safe mode. But honestly if its a virus back up your important data and reinstall your os.

Not to throw another opinion in to the mix, but I'm going to throw another opinion into the mix & just suggest something I'm surprised no one else has yet. Have you ever cleaned your registry? If you install a lot of programs/games you can be left with a messy registry that can slow down your computer. CCleaner seems to be a popular program for cleaning your windows registry.

Try all the spy/maleware cleaners and if that doesn't help try cleaning the registry. If that doesn't help back up your files & do a clean install of windows.

1) Update drivers.
2) Virus check.
3) Check startup programs
4) Delete temp files
5) Defrag
6) Repeat in safemode

Failing that reinstall windows and make sure to copy all important files to skydrive/dropbox/google drive.
