this year will be the best year since the release of the 360. the year is already starting strong with ninokuni and DmC, things will only get better, sly cooper tomb raider and next and with a huge wave of games coming out before E3. this year will be HUGE. one of the best, if not the best years in gaming ever

In my opinion 2012 was a terrible year. God of War: Ascension alone makes this year better, then there's a ton of other quality games releasing. I think 2013 will be the best year for gaming ever.

That's all I need to know to declare the game my GOTY 2013.

Alot of games coming in the first half from both Sony and Nintendo. Vita still seem weak, but the ps3,wiiu and 3ds lineup look all really strong.

Last of Us, Beyond (alot of ppl are excited for this, not me but w/v), GoW:A, Rayman Legends, Pikimin3, Bayonetta(probably not first half of the year but w/v), Wonderfull 101, Lego City, Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem, Tomb Raider (meh), Aliens, Bioshock, MG:revengeance...

So yeah, this year will be extremely strong. And we know almost nothing that is coming during this fall except for Pokémon and WindWakerHD, maybe Next Mario and MKU, if all of this come out this year it will be a fantastic year. As for Sony, we know nothing but they probably at the very least have 1big title for this fall. Same for Xbox.

2012 was okay, but we already have a slew of games in store for us in 2013 and then some, hopefully with E3.

I think so, unless everything absolutely bombs. There were some pretty decent gems that I liked last year Sleeping Dogs, Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3, Xcom, FF13-2, Halo 4. But nothing I would give a 9 to (haven't finished xcom yet).

I liked Dead Space's, Bioshock's, Tomb Raider's, Dark Soul's 2 previous iteration more than any game last year. So unless all 3 suck (it is possible) it looks better. Plus it has a sequal to one of my 2nd favorite game from last year (FF13-2).

there's new IP's like The Last of Us, a 3D pokemon game, a dark soul's sequal, GTA5, and already had Nino Kuni and Devil May Cry.

No, that would be plain madness!
