Is it really that much faster? I get into Black Ops (1) games in like 5-10 seconds on my PS3. |
You notice it from time to time but its not worth switching services over.
Yay!!!

I do agree that the matchmaking is much faster but the latency... I dont really notice any difference in it. |
Black Ops 2 has half a million-to a million people playing it per day. Look at your screen on the PS3/360 versions of Black OPs (not the Wii U) it says how many people are playing in each section. The matches come up instantaneously.
Gaming becoming a service rather than a good. Huh.

The once Americans got on top. Its always a business but the service aspects are amplified and the price rises when the US gets involved.

Same here. I had my two or three friends in the beginning, but sooner or later it was like thirteen to twenty people.
Someone want to redeem himself here uhu? Well done Jim... well done. Hehe :)

Pretty much what I felt after getting PS3 late this gen. I felt dumb for paying MS for live while everything major it offers is free elsewhere. And MS is not to blame because they are feeding on my stupidity. I truly feel dumb and don't intend to repeat this mistake again next gen.
I just bought LBP Karting, Unfinished Swan, NiGHTs and the PSN version of Ratchet and Clank, all for $20.
I get my $49.99 back every year and that doesn't include the games I get to "rent" for free as long as I keep renewing.
