I like the idea of Nintendo cross over with third party. Not so much with 1st party with other 1st party cause we have SSB for that, but I would'nt hate it. Some examples I can come up with.

Donkey Kong with Mario (obviously they both started together, but we have'nt seen these 2 in a game for a while now)
Megaman with Star Fox.
Kid Icarus with Fire Emblem
I could see Golden Sun crossing over with alot of ranchise.
Yoshi and Kirby,

Animal crossing and pokemon. You could catch all the bugs and fish, then pokemon could start appearing in your village for you to catch. You could also go out of the village, into the long grass to look for them too.

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

you shouldnt think like that! Its better if a game like that comes than nothing. Also its way to early to tell. Also think of it as a Shein Tensei(srry misspell) game. But instead of just it now its with fire emblem! Look at Mario and Sonic Olympic games. Lets say there was no nintendo. It'll be Sonic Olympic games! It sell alright maybe a mil or 2 on multiplat! But its cross over with mario. It didn't kill mario did it? Nooo. So same with this.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games works, because it throws expectations overboard. The only expectation left is the one for a good game.

On the other hand, a Mario & Sonic platformer crossover would not work. Neither in 2D or 3D.



how about rpg then Cant be a problem with that!

Legend of Zelda X Kid Icarus should work pretty well...storywise. Gameplaywise...I have no idea.

I always thought mariokart would be cool if it featured other nintendo characters and tracks inspired by other nintendo games instead of just those related to mario.
