It is a marketing trick PS plus for a full year would last until after PS4 releases so they might have PS plus on PS4. With any new buyer of PS3 having PS plus when PS4 releases with some kind of game collection, it would be more tempting to get the PS4 then other consoles. That is if it stays with PS4 for no additional cost.

I fail to see the point in either of you having 4 :P. But that is because I am really poor, if someone offered me a PS3 for 100$ or something I would buy then resell on Ebay.

dude...I'm not even a JRPG fan and even I know Valkyria Chronicles, NiNoKuni, Demon's Souls, and a lot of JRPGs are exclusive to PS.

Yeah I know. I'd like to play all those games, I just could never afford a PS3. I was hoping to get one this Summer though...

They'll price drop to $200 some time this year. Probably at E3 after giving PS4 details and getting all their big releases out of the way.

Such pretty system. I'd love to get one but it's too expensive for an old console. I'll wait to hear on PS4. If it launches at $400 and is backward compatible, I would feel like a fool for buying this.

@soriku, i know u are a huge rpg fan like myself, i will think about it. :)
like i told cgi-quality, i buy a few of special edition systems because i am a collector. this will be the 1st time i will sell one of them, for friends i can be flexible though.
i have a room dedicated just for gaming , gonna work on pc gaming collection soon though. need to build a new rig sometime this spring.
