Animal Crossing: Wild World (5.33m Japan) has outsold every Pokemon game in Japan except Red/Green/Blue, Gold/Silver, Diamond/Pearl, and Black/White.

I believe New Leaf is far outpacing Wild World in Japan.  Black/White sold 5.63m in Japan which barely puts it ahead of Wild World.  I believe New Leaf will sell at least 6-7m units in Japan.

Guys Animal Crossing passed 2million however that included digital copies, which were amazing due to low supply.

That doesn't mean anything, black and white is outpacing diamond and pearl, yet it won't reach its sales

 

Plus considering the last 2 pokemon games outsold wild world, why would the trend just stop?

Pokemon. Monster Hunter will even have a head start, but it'll be Pokemon regardless.

Well that makes sense then. It's odd that they don't track the Digital Sales though.
