Forums - Nintendo - Vigil games sends a message to Nintendo.

So I am working with some other guys to have Nintendo take notice that there is interest in this game. The best way to actually have Nintendo even glance at Darksiders is to bombard their Darksiders II community on the Wii U saying how Nintendo should buy the IP. It would help if one actually provides the benefits for Nintendo in acquiring the IP. Let's do this Wii U owners this IP is just too good to die. Sony, and MS fans you guys could do this on your own community also the more attention the game gets the more chance it will survive.

Nintendo needs to start buying things. Any thing! THQ was just for sale. Now Vigil, etc. Take a leap man! Another IP I wish they could get their hands on. Banjo kazooie.

I agree it's not like they don't have money in the bank.  They got close to $6 Billion in the bank...this will probably only cost them $300K at most!!!

it would be different for ninty but not a good fit. Vigil is more a Sony thing.

This is Nintendo. By the time Nintendo is ready to respond, the moss on Vigil's tombstone woulda been 2 years old.

Thanks, I am trying to go to other sites like gonintendo and such to continue this "project Darksiders"  I really, really appericiate the support!!!  It doesn't matter who gets it (I hope Nintendo or Platinum Games) but as long as the IP survives it would be a good thing.

Nintendo or Platinum Games would be the better options to me personally, because then you can guarantee a Wii U SKU being released.

Maybe instead of bombing Nintendo with posts everywhere possible, you'd rather move your butts to a store and buy Darksiders 2 on the Wii U? It only sold 50k, that's not something that can impress Nintendo...

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

That's a reach. I think they just want to be bought by anyone, so they can continue with their jobs.

You (and many others, it seems) don't seem to understand. Look at the image in the OP again. Then this:

(Also, Vigil is dead. The auction happened a few days ago. No publisher put a cent down on Vigial nor Darksiders. It was a weird, unfortunate event).

What makes you think I(and MANY others) don't understand? So, they made an image that acknowledges that DS is a Zelda rip-off ... how does that make an "invitation" and what would Nintendo want with a 2nd rate Zelda? Nonono, get real. If anyone would want this franchise, it's Sony, as to have an alternative to Zelda on the PS machines.

Sorry, I should have clarified. It seems many in this thread don't see the relationship between the Darksiders image and how it relates to Zelda. That's why I posted the cover that the DSII art was clearly taking from.

Of course Vigil wasn't doing this in an attempt to get Nintendo to buy them. As I said, the auction already happened. No one bought Vigil. They are *dead*. Gone. The reason they made this artwork was just as homage to one of their favorite franchises (which was made near the release of DSII on the Wii U). The OP in this thread was clearly pulling straws in his statements about wanting Nintendo to buy them.

Read the statement again...I SAID I am not the only one who probably thought that Darksiders would look good as a Nintendo IP!!! Stop putting words in my mouth and making ASSumptions.  In any case, clearly Vigil wanted to reach out to Nintendo.  Why else would they do this if not to attract some sort of attention; esp from Nintendo fans.
