That's a reach. I think they just want to be bought by anyone, so they can continue with their jobs.

You (and many others, it seems) don't seem to understand. Look at the image in the OP again. Then this:

(Also, Vigil is dead. The auction happened a few days ago. No publisher put a cent down on Vigial nor Darksiders. It was a weird, unfortunate event).

What makes you think I(and MANY others) don't understand? So, they made an image that acknowledges that DS is a Zelda rip-off ... how does that make an "invitation" and what would Nintendo want with a 2nd rate Zelda? Nonono, get real. If anyone would want this franchise, it's Sony, as to have an alternative to Zelda on the PS machines.

Sorry, I should have clarified. It seems many in this thread don't see the relationship between the Darksiders image and how it relates to Zelda. That's why I posted the cover that the DSII art was clearly taking from.

Of course Vigil wasn't doing this in an attempt to get Nintendo to buy them. As I said, the auction already happened. No one bought Vigil. They are *dead*. Gone. The reason they made this artwork was just as homage to one of their favorite franchises (which was made near the release of DSII on the Wii U). The OP in this thread was clearly pulling straws in his statements about wanting Nintendo to buy them.
