I don't get the whole Mario comparison thing. Everything which is a 2D platformer is going to be somewhat inspired from Mario but it plays nothing like Mario. I've loved 2D mario since forever and i can say this offers its own unique experience.

Please if you are saying this about LBP 2, then you have to say the same thing about NIntendo Franchises. Most of them are well spaced by 1 every Nintendo console generation. Just saying because is the same thing. LBP 2 is a good game, excellent I would say.

It's not the same. LBP2 relies on the community, while most of Nintendo's titles do not. 

This increases the games replayability by so much. You're getting a brand new experience with each community created level.

This is correct, pezus. Nintendo games achieve the same thing with just the content that is already there upon the game's release.

It's strange to hear you complimenting Nintendo, but I guess there's a first time for everything. I might consider to join the pezus fan club, if you keep this up.

Are you really suggesting the community that exists within LBP2 is unneeded or is in some way a negative? We get it, you like Nintendo and dislike Sony but wow.  What the LBP series allows it's players to create/share and contribute to the community is a huge positive. The game thrives on player creativity, I really don't see how that can be considered a bad thing.
