I tried it at Toys R' Us back in the day just to see if the 3D really worked. The demo game I played was Mario Clash I believe, the one that's kinda like old school arcade Mario Brothers but with 2 planes, a foreground and a background for a (supposedly) better 3D effect.
After 5 minutes my neck and eyes hurt from peering into the thing, and I pretty much lost all interest in the machine afterwards. The VB was one of those experiments that was ahead of its time in some ways but just a complete failure in others... now we have glasses free 3D without any need to peer into a clunky device with the 3DS, and with the Wii U we have a true second-screen option for major games that does what the infamous GC-GBA link cable tried to do 10 years ago but failed because it was just too expensive and impractical to require 4GBAs and 4 cables if you wanted to play 4-player Four Swords or Crystal Chronicles.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
