First clearer image.

I wonder if this'll be TOO Japan centric for the Western market...

Because of the mech? Is the average American/European so against the idea of giant, awesome, humanoid, weapons? I've been watching stuff like Gundam and Zoids since I was 7 years old, so I kind of thought it was normal to be into that kind of stuff...

Personally I thought it seemed very Transformer-like. You know... what with the transforming into a ground-based vehicle and such.

I think it's an awesome idea!! Robots fighting dinosaur monsters?! Count me in!! But the mech might just look a little too Japanese for most folks... Westerners like other Japanese robots: transformers ^^

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I don't think the mechs will be an issue tbh from the looks of it they seem to be more of a Lost Planet support type row but only you have one which is your personal mech.

Also, day, night, and dawn/dusk are all clearly seen in the trailer, but in the clip at around 0:47 is seems to be raining. I have yet to play Xenoblade, but it didn't have dynamic weather patterns, did it? Could this be another new addition?

No, it rained now and then in xenoblade

Really? Did it have any effect on gameplay, or was it just for aesthetics?

There was some enemies that would spawn depending on the weather and some of sidequests required you to get some of the items that those enemies dropped. However, there was also other ways to get those items.

Gosh, I realy want to play that game now, but I want to wait until I can upgrade my PC to play it in glorious HD through Dolphin. I am conflicted!

It's limited supply so I don't blame you pirating it THIS time. Just make sure you support them if you like it with the next game.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

Some gundams transform into core fighters(fighter jets), though. Actually, it is pretty similar. Heh.

Transformers is japanese? You sure about that?

Oh, don't worry, I'll be buying the game. There are quite a few Gamestops within 50 miles of me, so I should be able to find it. Even if I can't though, $80 isn't such a high price to pay if the game really will last 100+ ours.

I'll be "pirating" it as well, which is technically illegal, I guess, but I'm too lazy to rip it myself.

This game looks really good. Can't wait till they show more, perhaps at e3 with formal name/showing.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

So... is this Wii U's first "WOW" game? I say so.

Have you ever played Xenoblade?

Yes. Xenoblade is my 2nd favorite game of all time, actually. Xenoblade is also not a Wii U game, so I wouldn't call it Wii U's first "WOW" game. Unless that's not what you're implying.

No what I was implying was that Xenoblade is an awesome game and X looks just like it in HD. And I wouldn´t call Xenoblade a "WOW" game just because it is different then most JRPG´s

Can't agree there. X looks like a major revamp in gameplay and graphics, at the least. X features incredible draw distances and exceptional environmental detail that I believe goes far beyond what Xenoblade would look like in HD, and it appears to have a much more active and exciting approach to combat along with exploration.

Now, I would call Xenoblade a "WOW" game not because it's different than most JRPGs. I would consider it a "WOW" game because it's very unlike any game I've ever seen. I haven't seen or heard of a more interesting game world. I haven't seen a game reward and encourage exploration as much as Xenoblade. It's straight-up phenominal and I wish other games across other genres would exhibit at least a fraction of Xenoblade's smart design and creativity. Xenoblade demonstrates what I always wanted from the Wii (and Wii U) - a system where good ideas are king, not shiny graphics.

But a "WOW" game doesn't mean perfection. I have a laundry list of improvments I'd like to see in a Xenoblade successor. And so far, X is just about what I was hoping for, if not much more. I'm going to go watch the trailer for the tenth time.

It's a WoW game, it literally is WoW in single player mode that you can finish. Yep, single player World of Warcraft, yep.
