Wind Waker looks very pretty on Wii U the new lighting makes everything just POP!

ehh remaking games is not a new thing for Nintendo >_> this time they just have HD in the remakes

This is such great news. I truly can't wait to play WindWaker for the first time. And the visuals look stunning, much more than just an up-scale. The idea of openworld Zelda takes me back to the days of Zelda 1 and wandering around hyrule screen by screen. So much potential.

The "conventions" topic, I think, refers to things such as Z-targeting, bottles, potions, songs to learn, the grunts the village people make when you talk to them, the advisor companion.... things that have been added to the series over the years and become conventions. I really hope they review all of these things and scrap some of them, replacing them with something fresh. Give me a sword, a sheild, a fantasy world to freely explore, cool items to collect, neat enemies to fight and great graphics and sound. Beyond that, come up with fresh ideas as to how the game will play and play out. But make sure the controls are tight!

isn't Majora's Mask linked to OoT? wouldn't that mean that it makes more sense to release a remake for 3DS, as it already got OoT?

Yeah there's just rumours on the bet about MM HD and it just thrills me to think of it. It would be such an incredible looking game if they did it. Hey, I can dream, right?

In my opinion, Ocarina of Time shouldn´t have been remade for the 3DS but for the Wii U.

OoT remake for the Wii U is what should´ve been shown today, not WW.

OoT needs to rest now...That game was released 5 times now...its nice to see nintendo give the shot to another Zelda game...And I'm glad they picked WW.. IMO its one of the best Zelda games to date.

They're doing a great job on that remake, but they should have kept the original colour scheme, it hurts my eyes.

I feel so F****** conflicted right now. I wanted a Majora's Mask remake so f****** badly. I'm so sad. But I f****** love Wind Waker and the remake looks SO beautiful. I'm so excited, so disappointed, so excited, my heart is TORN IN HALF.
