Sony consumers subsidize the sales, Microsoft should be doing the same because the consumers are paying for way more than they are getting. Xbox Live is pure profit.

exactly yet they get away with offering less for more for some reason.  Americans need to educate themselves.

It will happen over time. Look at the COD shift when on the PS3 and the 360.

Haven't checked but UK doesn't need one because it doesn't need to make up for several months of utter crap they've been handing out like the US one.
