So, did i get this right that there will be a 3rd-party focused one coming in February?

Think so; expect a few heavy-hitters to be announced then as well (though I thought Bayonetta and Wonderful 101 were 3rd party?)

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I do know that will be at least on more, maybe even two, since this seems to be more of a seasoning for the upcoming financial report for Q3, so it probably means they are getting better but not totally there yet so please don't sell, to investors.

I thought it was going to suck. When they spent 10min on Miiverse I thought it was going to be a snorefest. So glad I was wrong.

-Miiverse stuff was boring and to long imo, but it was expected.
-Was good to finaly get a confirmation about what's going on about the VC. It's launch for April is almost confirmed. Those who are complaining about having to pay to play their VC games they already bought should stop. You don't ''pay to play'' them, you pay for the new features. Nothing stops you from getting into your Wii Channel and play your VC games the same way you have been doing since the WiiU launch and even years before it. Iwata said they had to redevelop them for WiiU, obviously meaning gamepad play, but could this also mean HD? Or would that be to much of development? I doubt it but 1 can dream right?
-The Famicom 30th anniversary is extremely appealing. I'm soooo buying Super Metroid for 30cents. I'll probably buy all 10 games, wich is great since I would have never bought some of those if it was'nt for the price.
-The Wonderfull 101 trailer seemed great. I use the word ''seemed'' cause it became super laggy during the trailer for me, I need to rewatch it. Could'nt help but laugh at the end when they were water sliding :D
-Can't say I was'nt disapointed when Iwata mentioned Bayonetta2 only to say that they can show us any footages yet. I thought he was trolling us lol. But that developer video ended up being a great tease. Rly well done, showing us the perfect amount to keep the hype going. I seriously hope that the PG Iwata ask will get into details on this game, possible since he mentioned he wanted to make a wonderfull101 specific Iwata ask meaning that they talked about other things during their first interview.
- A 3D mario game developed by the EAD responsible for Galaxy and a new MK game was'nt news for me. So up to that point I remained disapointed. Confirmation of these being at E3 atleast gives me the assurance that I won't be disapointed at e3 this year. Same goes for Smash.
-Can't say I really care about that party game. It looked bland imo, I thought it lacked that special Nintendo unique feeling.
-Yoshi's Epic Yarn (is that the confirmed name?) looked gorgeous. I heard good things from Kirby's Epic Yarn, but because I also heard that it was WAY to easy makes me wonder what the difficulty will be for this game? Unlike Kirby tho, I feel Yoshi did'nt get much love in the past 2 gens, so I may pick this up.
-Shin Megami TenseyXFire Emblem is interesting. Can't say I'm super hyped cause I know nothing of the SMT series plus we still dont know what kind of game it will be. Fighting game like MarvelVsCapcom? or more like ProjectXZone or RPGish like that Pokémon Conquest? hard to say. But that game deffinetly have my curiosity.
-If they had my curiosity for that SMT Vs FE game, they deffenetly had my attention (see what I did there?) when they mentioned Zelda. Open world sounds great, multiplayer not so much but I'll wait for more details before judging. The artstyle looked rly good. Alot of ppl will be disapointed that it's not like the Zelda HD experience. As for me, I think it's hard to judge before we see link, but I'm sure it will be fantastic. I only wish they gave us a title so we can stop refering to it as ''Zelda WiiU'' lol.
-Wind Waker HD is a great announcement since I've been hiting my head against a wall for years for not buying WW back when I had a GC. At the time I thought the game looked for babies, I was a 13year old brat, did'nt know any better :( They seemed to have changed the artstyle tho, not sure how I feel about that. But it seems that WW HD and ZeldaU will look awfully similar, unless all the screens were from ZeldaU but that last screen showing Toon Link with that Tetra gave me the impression that atleast that paticular screen was from WW.
-And the icing on the cake. The new Monolith Soft game looks fantastic. Is X the name or a teaser name? Ppl should stop refering to it as Xenoblade 2 since I don't think this game has any conections to Xenoblade. It looked like it should be more called ''Xenogun'' lol since I thought they were using alot of gun (jk, that would be terrible). Will this also be a Mech game? The idea of traveling inside a Mech around a gigantic open world fighting giant monsters is making me drool lol.

Overall I'm more than happy. I was seriously hoping for atleast to hear from either Retro or Monolith's new game :D

My prediction, 3D Mario and MK this fall. SSB 2014, Xeno game and Bayonetta 2 spring 2014.

What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)

"Wii VC purchased games can be updated to be used on Wii U VC for a small fee."

Not gonna happen for me then! I'll go through the minor inconvenience and use the Wii channel to access my VC games.  Not paying extra for something that should carry over to any new system for free.

So... if anyone is actually complaining about what was announced today, Nintendo probably just isn't for you. It's ok, we all have different tastes, and maybe you'd be better served by Microsoft of Sony. It's perfectly fine. Go have fun on a console that's more your style, and we'll just enjoy the bucket of awesomeness that Nintendo just poured on us.

QFT!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Does anyone really think they will see the big titles, the most anticipated games like New Zelda, SSBB, Monolith Game. Those titles won't see the light of day to play well into 2014 or more likely 15, AT THE EARLIEST. And that just the really good stuff. The ho-hum stuff like 3D mario, mario kart, yoshi, etc, all the staple recycled Nintendo Series still won't be seen or played til the end of this year at the earliest or even next year around April.

Just soooo damn frustrating, to see so many great games, and the potential to make great games like Nintendo does, but not be able to deliver them in a timely manner. I guess I'll have plenty to do on my PS4 while I'm waiting, but damn. There's no reason these games can't all be staggered released through this year and before the end of the Q1 2014 fiscal year. Instead, we'll be LUCKY to see 1 or 2 of those titles before Q1 2014. Saddens me.

It all looks fine, but man...NO new WiiU titles for Jan. or Feb!! You have a system that has just launched, and you don't have a single new title to release for more than 60+ days, that's crazy. Then I only saw 5 games in total that you'll see throughout the remainder of the year!!

Not only that, but every single thing that was spoken about, whether it be a game, a feature, a fix, or a system, was expected to have a lengthy "please wait" period attached to it. Everything. I love Nintendo, and I usually love their quality games titles....but if they have any hope of making it this gen, they really do have to get a handle on their development cycles. This just ain't gonna cut it.

There are some new titles for Wii U in Jan/Feb, at least in europe, but none from Nintendo.

For example. Rayman Legends, Kens Rage 2 and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Good stuff. Just give me that 3D Mario and that Yoshi game and I'll have a reason to start thinking about buying a Wii U. Maybe it'll get a price cut untill then too.

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

On very little sleep but bringing my ipad to my fav cafe and it will be a joy to watch the slow agonizing death of Nintendo haters. Next ND, some 3rd party support just to back the truck over their (your) corpses one more time.

Ho hum stuff like 3D Mario?  You do realize that Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are the 1st and 3rd highest rated games... ever... right?

And do you want Nintendo to turn on a magic spigot that just pours games out?  Yeah games take time.  Xenoblade came out in 2010.  Do you want them to crap out a sequel in two years, or do you want them to spend time and make an awesome game?  Wonderful 101 will be out this year, as will Pikmin 3, at least one out of the 2 Mario games, Wind Waker HD, and probably Yoshi Land.

And you think the situation is going to be different for the PS4?  Because the PS3 and Vita came out and instantly had tons of great games amirite?  If you think the PS4 is going to come out with Uncharted 4, Infamous 3, Little Big Planet 3, God Of War 5, and tons of other games, brace yourself for disappointment.
