jazes321 is my live id and i don't get why i'm being biased, you called biased in another thread towards microsoft and now i'm biased towards sony, do me a favor and put me on ignore and don't post in my threads, now i'm biased cause i believe the specs and I believe DF, could the 4 data engine pull off a miracle, maybe but i doubt it. |
you play so little games I think you are putting way to much effort into what your next system you are getting. Looking at your gamertag, other than few halo games, a gears and a forza game, all your games are multiplatform. You also appear to have hardly played any of the 19 games on your gamertag. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you have spent more time on here debating the next gen systems than you have spent playing the entirety of your 360 collection.

i just got back into gaming, so i have alot of catching up to do, i won't get a nextgen system till the end of 2014. i never really cared about online play but now that i have tried it, its really addicting.

yea thats true but i guess its a hobby of mine, reading about games, specs and sales but yea i'm not loyal to any company, what i want is the most powerful console,a reguler controller and great games which i know both 720 and ps4 will have.

I tend to just accumulate everything. Then I can buy a game I'm interested in, even if it is a system exclusive. I use to buy a lot of games, but not so much anymore. Probably because when this gen started I was a best buy employee, now I'm a teacher.
I'm not very good at completing games anymore... but I'm still a sucker for new technologies.

its better to rent most games, if you only play single player, for me this gen just has to many games that i'm interested in, unlike any gen since the 16 bit era, so better to rent complete and experiance the next game.

if you are looking at renting then you should probably be looking at sony, regardless of specs. The playstation plus program, while random I guess, is a great way to essentially rent games. Unless microsoft follows suit and offers something similar, it seems like that is probably the best bang for your buck.
For me, I'm way to sporadic with my game playing to rent games...

probably going with ps4 nextgen, waiting for e3 to make a decision, if the system is 349$ i might get it at launch.
I would say that the Xbox Next is certainly going to be the weaker of the two when compared to the PS4. I would put the difference at between 30-50% in favour of the PS4 when compared to the Xbox Next. The interesting part is how much the difference in performance is met with a difference in price and a recent slide pushing for a $199 BOM puts that $299 price point well within reach.
The real question is whether they launch with something which makes up for the difference in performance or whether the two systems will compete based on price, performance and exclusive titles only. My bet is that Microsoft consideres the PC to be their 'high end SKU' so their machine is really for the rest of the market.
Tease.
