yea thats true but i guess its a hobby of mine, reading about games, specs and sales but yea i'm not loyal to any company, what i want is the most powerful console,a reguler controller and great games which i know both 720 and ps4 will have.

I tend to just accumulate everything.  Then I can buy a game I'm interested in, even if it is a system exclusive.  I use to buy a lot of games, but not so much anymore.  Probably because when this gen started I was a best buy employee, now I'm a teacher.

I'm not very good at completing games anymore... but I'm still a sucker for new technologies.

its better to rent most games, if you only play single player, for me this gen just has to many games that i'm interested in, unlike any gen since the 16 bit era, so better to rent complete and experiance the next game.

if you are looking at renting then you should probably be looking at sony, regardless of specs.  The playstation plus program, while random I guess, is a great way to essentially rent games.  Unless microsoft follows suit and offers something similar, it seems like that is probably the best bang for your buck.

For me, I'm way to sporadic with my game playing to rent games...

probably going with ps4 nextgen, waiting for e3 to make a decision, if the system is 349$ i might get it at launch.
