Assad is the last hope for Syria. If he falls sharia will be the only law in that country, and then will people see what terror and suffering trully means . Only a very small percentage of Syrians actually wanted him to give up power, and the fact that mostly foreigners fight against him, is proof. The fall of the arab dictators is the biggest catastrophy of the 21st century so far. The Arab Spring is a hoax, and everything from the Syria uprising to the current Mali and Algerian crysis comes from that BS, that they call a revolution chain.

It is not a revolution chain, and nothing good comes from it. Its just a vehicle for extreme muslim ideologies, something that might threaten the civilezd world. We are not yet at the point where these countries can live in a trully democratic state, look at Lybia, Iraq and Afghanistan fro christs sake, those countries became a breeding ground for the extremists.

I don't know about Mao Zedong, but Stalin definitely did.  And just so you know I think Assad is a monster but still, on the scale of things he is relatively minor, if only because he doesn't have the same capabilities and resources to become a much bigger monster.
