Another sad day in gaming when a lackluster platformer can pass 5mil in sales, the game is not great, its just average, kinda like halo3. I'm pretty sure this game will go on to sell until the wii dies, you buy a wii and this is the game you buy. You don't buy a wii for anything other then first party games, and it shows with all their systems.

I expect sales to be upwards of Mario 3, since this is the only proper mario game since Mario64, sunshine just sucked according to Nintendo fans, so i don't count it.

Oh Griffin. Were Mario Galaxy just a great game, I'd be able to get mad at you. But since it's one of the best games ever made, I can only find humour in what you say.

Yes, it's one of the best games ever made. And if you disagree you clearly haven't hit the toy galaxy yet.

Anyway its good news for SMG, I personally think it will easily clock the 10M mark lifetime, Mario has legs.
