No your wrong. A lot of americans believe it. And the ones that don't, or just dont know what to think such as myself, have done research and found a lot of contradicting articles. It hasn't been proven for a reason. To my knowledge it's still a theory. A theory that not all scientists agree upon.
How could I believe them if they don't believe themselves?
How do we know it's not just nature running its course?

Remember the ozone layer? Many books and essays tore the whole theory to pieces and considered it the biggest of hoaxes.
Now governments hate to hear people bring it up because it makes them look stupid.
Even governments don't mention it anymore. Strange.
You will think they would be proud of such an acheivement and bring it up at every global warming meeting.
A lot of people made good money from the ozone "problem" and now they are many employed in the so-called green industries.

Wow, so now the succussfully solved ozone crisis is evidence against climate change? They really can spin anything...
People do talk about the ozone crisis, frequently, and in the context of greenhouse gas emmissions. There are quite a few similarities between the two problems. But CFCs were a problem which was trivial to solve by switching to alternative gasses for refridgeration and aerosol canisters.
There is no easy alternative to fossil fuels, only painful ones. So we downplay, and delay, and deny, and accuse other people of not doing enough, because we would give up almost anything else before we gave up cheap energy. Cheap energy makes everything awesome possible.
