A good quarter for the 360, maybe the next generation isn't needed quite as quickly as I thought.

Good yoy growth for Windows Phones, but disappointing surface sales.

Thats a huge drop in xbox shipment from last year

I'm getting a bit tired of this slavish reliance on Nintendo excel graphs.  It's ridiculous.  Im pretty sure they do not show all markets. 360 is clearly underestimated in emerging markets, Brazil for example. 

i have a feeling the under tracking is historical and a combination if 2011 and 2012 numbers. If you look at the ship v sold numbers then its pretty obvious. 

Okay so Brett drops ~500k(?) into South America. Short while later, Ninty show that its say... 400k under in Europe.

Then what?

Waiting for accurate data is better than guessing.

sales dropped 5 million from last year, it pretty much is needed.

After shipping 8.2 million last year, im a little surprised they shipped so many this time around. I dont see Ps3 shipment being more than 6 million if not less. Where are those sales going though?

XBox360 revenue down 1.1B or 29% and XBox360 sales down 28% from last year. Good numbers or not, there is no twisting the fact they are on a decline. I would suggest that you don't get too excited, because the worst is yet to come for the XBox360.

Emerging markets like Central and South America would be my guess
