Well thats just wrong.GT5 will pass Halo Reach this year apparantly. If those 1.5 digital bundles were retail, that would have added another 2 years, as I dont think GT5 can keep up this pace forever.

It definetly will, expect PD to report 10m shipped in the next few months.

hoepfully they go back to 2 games next generation. just one wasnt enough and i PERSONALLY was disappointed with GT5 but i heard they fixed alot of the things i disliked with patches. regardless, GT is a monster franchise.

I doubt it will do it this year. It would need to sell close to last year's numbers which just isn't happening. Perhaps there will be adjustments though. If not, then I say mid 2014.

Over 10 million as of March 2013.

11 million as of December 2013.

And yes it will outsell every Halo ever released... 2nd best selling GT in the history.

Considering it is the only choice on PS3 platform for raing simulation, it is highly possible to reach 10million life time sales.

It's ahead of nearly every Halo title already, and it will outsell Reach, but not Halo 3. 


We're almost certainly overtracking all Halo games (except maybe 1 and 2 and possibly Wars. That game had beyond horrible legs according to VGC). VGC had the franchise at over 47 million sellthrough not including digital sales when MS announced it crossed 46 million and over 52 million when they announced 50 million. With digital sales it's probably close to a 5 million difference.

You oughta know though that bundeling is not the only way this game is selling.

Knowing what you know, you shouldn't have even bothered.

OT: I'm thinking probably 2014. Should hit 9.5 mill this year, though.

Edit: Having a second look, 10 million shouldn't be too much of a stretch this year.

It may be a little bit of trolling but that does not mean it isn't true.
From what i have seen, the PS3 Pack including GT5 and Uncharted 3 has been the most sold in France and Belgium these 2 last months.
If it's like that in a lot of countries, it could be a huge factor in GT5 sales.

For instance, it is very anecdotal because i have a very little shop but in the last 6 months, i have sold only 1 GT5 by itself and i have sold 5 GT5/U3 PS3 Packs...
And also, i see something like 3 or 4 people a week that want to sell me their copies of GT5 and U3 they have received with their brand new PS3.




Zones : I still don't understand all the love for Blizzard, what was the last game they developed worth playing?
