I'm surprised they get as much as minimum wage to be honest. But what kind of jobs do they do anyway? And whats to say they won't commit again, in some ways you are better off in jail now, you are guaranteed a meal, shelter and now even a job and basic healthcare and all you have to do is break the law!

Yes they should but its more important that people that are not in prison get a decent wage so that they don't have to resort to a live of crime to get by.
