PSVITA sales continue to decline, price cut helps mildly but is ultimately crushed under the weight of Pokemon. (picks back up in 2014, but 2013 will be bad.)

Wii and DS are NOT discontinued, they're still selling quite well.

WiiU price cut (and ambassador for me yay!)

Nextbox launches, PS4 does not.

The next Zelda is delayed.

3DS has its best year in Japan.

Sc2 HOTS arrives really buggy and with tons of balance issues.

Anime quality continues to decline, more harem/ecchi.

PS3 continues its domination in the home console market until E3.

COD has a worse year than 2012. (Still sells godly amounts though)

Nintendo finally decides to get some JRPGs to NA and Europe. (Actually this year might be one of the best for JRPG fans on any consoles.)

Kickstarter doesn't deliver, people lose trust.

FE bundle sells out quickly to low foreseen demand by to Nintendo, collectors rage.

Microsoft Japan realizes once again that it has been arrogant.

Lego city Undercover does better than people expected.

PSASBR gets bundled.

Nintendo gets GC virtual console on WiiU.

PS+ becomes more popular.

DOTA 2 is released, steals a lot of Lol players

GOTY is a PC game.

Lastly, there is another violent shooting incident around the holidays.

PS3, 360 and Vita - Price cut
Wii U basic set discontinued
PS4 and 720 launches (Although PS4 probably not until 2014)
Wii U price cut but by the end of the year (in response to the new consoles)
Wii and DS will stay (unless the sales declined to numbers below 20k each week)

- PS4/NexBox to release around Holiday Season.
- Wii U Basic Set to be taken off shelves.

@Wii and DS being discontinued:
Are you crazy?!

No he's not crazy, Nintendo can't support 4 gaming machines at once.

Nintendo isn't making any software for neither of both systems.

PS3, 360, and PS Vita price cut.
Final Fantasy Versus 13 gets a release date trailer
Lightnings Returns Final Fantasy sells half as much as 13-2
Dead Island Riptide flops
Wii U starts to sell a lot better than it's launch.
PS4 will not launch this year
720 will launch this year
If they both do come out this year 720 blows PS4 out the water.

we will find out the truth about ninpie :O

This.

I'd add that the Wii U Basic is now bundled with pre-installed Nintendoland.

PS4 releases first in Japan in 2013 due to fear of shrinking market share (Nintendo accounts for over 70% of sales).

- Vita price cut early in the year from $249 to $149, 3G model discontinued or heavily-bundled, with price dropped to $199

E3 -time and after:

- Xbox 3 and PS4 unveilings with near-completed software shown at E3, both due by November 2013

- Kinect Next set to be bundled and built-in to every Xbox 3, price set at $399.  $199 if buyers opt to do a 12-month contract with monthly fee

- PS4 price set for $399 despite very advanced hardware, Sony selling at heavy loss to ensure sales momentum in order to build decent install base

- PS4's "innovation" is 4K support for all first-party games.  High-capacity Blu-ray still the format used for games.  4K versions must be downloaded from PSN Store

- Xbox 3 uses Blu-ray and is backwards-compatible with Xbox 360, but only through software emulation as 360 was with Xbox

- Controllers bundled with both new consoles unlikely to be much if at all different from their predecessors

- Optional tablet controller sold seperately for Xbox 3, with internal memory and HD screen.  Smaller, lighter, and more expensive than Wii U GamePad, but has all buttons and analog sticks.

Nintendo -

- Five or six huge first-party Nintendo heavy-hitters shown at E3 and given launch windows for holiday period and into 2014. Some for 3DS, most for Wii U

- Complete bombshell dropped either in Nintendo Direct or at E3 about a huge 3rd-party game turning into a Wii U exclusive due to development costs, as Nintendo happily agrees to pay for publishing

- Nintendo announces Miiverse and eShop apps for iOS and Android, which link to Wii U as well as 3DS.  eShop games can now be browsed and purchased on smartphone/tablet devices, but obviously can only be downloaded and played on 3DS/ Wii U.

- A third 3DS model, smaller and lighter. Similar to what they did from DS to DS Lite. Priced at $149 just like the DS and DS Lite.  No second circle pad.

- 3DS price drop from $169 to $149.  XL remains at $199 as it is selling well enough that no reduction is necessary

- Some kind of 3DS peripheral that allows 3DS games to be played through Wii U --similar to the Super Game Boy or the GCN's GameBoy Player-- but obviously lacking 3D support as Nintendo doesn't care about 3D in home consoles as 3DTV's have not sold well

- Wii U price cut in November from $349 to $299, and a discontinuation of the Basic set altogether

3DS steamrolls over every other system
Sony has not learnt from mistakes, PS4 is overpowered and expensive, disappointing sales
3rd XBOX is unveiled, pretty obvious that games is not a priority
720's controller consist of a tablet and Kinect, Few or even no buttons
3rd parties will contiune to come up with pathetic excuses why they don't make WiiU-games
Steam will continue ruining weak people's wallet
Nintendo announces Metroid and Zelda on 3DS, may tease the next console Zelda.
No Mario-plattformer talked about
