Simply because i always thought SEGA made better games back then.

I was a SEGA fanboy until the dieing days of the dreamcast. It might've been the biggest loss of the games industry.

I had NES, SNES and GameBoy; and out of that 3 I still have my 19 years old GameBoy and it still works :) I was never really heavily "into" Nintendo's IP's, so I never wanted a Nintendo console after those 3. (btw at time I had SNES I also had Sega Mega Drive and I enjoyed it much, much more.)
