What's really interesting is that they break down the sales by console, compare geographic regions, and list the games they plan on releasing in the next 3 months.

I didn't realize that the press release was the actual third quarter report. They're releasing 13 DS titles in 3 months...  They're definitely going big on it.

• Third-quarter sales up 44% to €450 million, outstripping forecasts.

• In 2007 Ubisoft moves up to the position of third-leading independent publisher .

• Two new franchises created – Assassin's Creed™ and Imagine™.

• 2007-08 title release schedule updated.

• 2007-08 targets revised upwards and sales guidance raised for 2008-09.

Lol, they have 13 DS titles to be released in the next quarter and one PSP title. It seems pretty obvious they are abandoning the PSP and looking at their sales I can see why.

and they mention a new snowboarding series and a new Prince of Persia too (at least I didn't know about it)

Last quarter sales:

360: 29%
DS: 28%
PS3: 19%
Wii: 12%
PC: 6%
PS2: 4%
PSP: 2%
GBA: 1%
GC, XB, Other: 0%

Most likely based on revenue or possibly unit sales, and doesn't necessarily equate to profit.

yeah, those are sales, not profit

u can't extrapolate profit from that...would need them to give some guidance there
