I think you're wrong on those 3DS numbers... Animal Crossing and Pokemon is coming this year. That alone will push more HW...

I would imagine the numbers would be much higher.

If MS plays their cards right, they can really take advantage of the momentum the 360 has been enjoying and carry it over to the next Xbox.

With the steep decline in current gen, I think it shows that to cushion that effect they need to release a new console (Sony/MS).. I think unless something goes horribly wrong both companies will release a new console by the end of the year.

I would also expect a price cut before the end of March-May (Sony), if releasing a new console, would be silly to do it later in the year and compete with their new product. Also surprised that they haven't released the slim with no disk in the USA yet, so expect that to happen at some point. It was selling for £135 in some places in the UK over Christmas.

I think Sony could stabilise their sales a little with a price cut, but the gen has been going on for so long, it may be too late to make a significant impact except at a christmas period like the Xbox.

These numbers just make me want to cry, terrible across the board.

You should probably expect Canada to have purchased 8% to 12% as much as the USA, and I would expect (less than) half that much for mexico. As a rough estimate this would put the Wii U at 515 to 545 Million in North America ...

360 dominance on America is like Nintendo dominance on Japan. Absolutely stunning.

At this Rate next Xbox will easilly sell over 40m, probably around 50m in the U.S.A Next Gen and 60M for the Whole Americas.

Outstanding, with that Continent Alone Microsoft didnt even need anymore but they will still grow alot in Europe probably to over 30m SOLD, AUS and Middle East... Japan is a wild card, unpredictable, Nintendo will reign supreme there.

i Expect Xbox 3 to sell around 100m LT and SW Sales to be Around 1b when all its said and done... i will probably be a father already by there... i was still 15 years old when i bought the 360, im 21... time flyies.
