I think PS3 is getting good rep. My local gamestop is finally placing PS3 games and other things related to it on display in front of the store. It used to be all the way in the back.

Well in my eyes the PS3 is a big success. It has the chance to sell about 100 Million consoles which is undoubtly a success. If others dont see it the same way, thats fine by me. I dont care.

How did the PS3 dominate the latter years, exactly?

If you look at 2009-2011 the Wii outsold it by like 8 million. Even if you include 2012, which you shouldn't considering the WiiU, then the Wii was still like 3-4 million ahead. That isn't dominance.

I think it was kind of crapped on a little too much for awhile but that's to be expected when you're coming off two straight dominant generations. Fans of the other side are going to pile on a little extra. I think nowadays people give the system its due though.

PS3's current sales would be more impressive if the console wasn't down yr. over yr. 2m from 2011-2012. and that goes for 360 as well, but a win is a win regardless.

i hate to say it, but nobody will be impressed when PS3 out sales Wii. yea sure they'll be a thread, fans of rival consoles will have some ass remarks, PS fans will respond in kind, and the thread will be locked, and more threads will pop up about, how long it took to do so, ect.

PS3 gets exclusive support for another yr. likely, and multi-plat form support for yr.'s to come, so whether PS3 gets it's props or not, the most important thing is PS3 will continue to get games support for more then 10 yr.'s.

so in the end who gives to shits about props, when games support is what's most important to a console during its life cycle.
