Yeah, I haven't played since Adventures. Sonic is the reason I adopted the Dreamcast... but yeah, the translation has me open minded and curious, but I won't get excited until we see the game.

Generations 2......... would buy it in a heartbeat.

Would love to see the Sonic Advance trilogy on xbla/vc/psn aswell.

Sounds interesting. I like that Sonic games are now being made kind of like Mario games. Each one is different instead of trying to create continuity. I also like that they are stripping away the story and going back to how it was originally.

I'm still holding out hope that Sega will come to its senses and switch Eggman back to Dr. Robotnik.

Yeah, Sonic Advance 1,2 & 3 are Sonic 4,5 & 6 in my eyes too.

Playing Sonic Advance 3 again right now...... love the fact that you dont have to jump on the springs and instead just bounce as soon as you walk/run at them, (in both SA 2&3) makes the gameplay flow better than the first

All great games though.

I would be just fine if they did Sonic Generations 2. That game was so well done.

Also I don't know why they just don't keep it a side scroller like the originals. It has worked all these years for Mario. Just create new, bright, and beautiful worlds and I don't think anyone would complain.
