He was cute and grass sucks. Plus he can use Surf.

I actually just beat Pokemon Red for the first time a couple months ago. I picked Charmander, and kept him in my party until the very end.

..Because Charizard is a Badass!

I'll have to say Squirtle. Probably since I got Pokémon Blue version and thought it was fitting. And Blastoise is always a force to be reckoned with!


@Basil - I fully agree about Blaziken. He literally kicks everyone's ass!

I like Bulbasaur the most,

No blaziken!!! Sceptile is better and so is Swampert!!! Im gonna have to make a third gen starter poll before the second lol!
