If it doesn't come with a free bunny, then I won't get it.
backwards compatibility is also in high consideration.

random: i know were the bunny is.

on topic: i would want to keep the digital content on psn/live and also keep network id's. so losing that might be a dealbreaker for me.

off topic: why doesn't sony just put a console in everyone of their tv's? i think there would be more potential gamers that way.

Prediction: GTA V will be my favourite game of all time.

Reliability. Nintendo is the only company I trust to buy at launch, which I did with the ds, gba, gcn, wii, and now wiiu because they are the only one's that make systems that can actually run from day one. -_-. They have disappointed me with their feature support at launch, but their systems don't commit suicide, so I guess that's one thing they have over the competition.

Anti used game measures and having to pay for online multiplayer are deal breakers for me. Even though I rarely buy a game used, I don't want my game to become worthless once I play it.

I think that any measures that prevented me from playing used games would be a deal-breaker. I think it would be a deal-breaker for many more people too. If a hardware company actually implemented such restrictions, I imagine the negative feedback would be so intense that the company would have to back down.

Anti-used game measures would not personally bother me since I do not buy used games. However, I think that would do more damage to a console than anything else on that list. It would tank game sales, and force major discounts for most titles to be able to move software. After that, good luck getting third party support.

Lack of games i suppose, but even then... I'll probably still buy them... Wasnt planning buying a wii u at launch, but my brother was going to walmart to get and asked if i wanted to go. I said sure and when the lady asked if i wanted one i decided on the spot to get it... Im kind of a sucker for new technology...

I'm more of a "glass half full" kind of guy. Give me something to love about a console and I'm in. I can overlook the flaws. If the new console's "hook" gets me, I'll buy it. I'll deal with the negatives, later.
